Alex Griffiths brings agency and casting experience to the masterclass. Having worked in casting (commercial/social/film/voice) and as a Voiceover Agent, Voice Account Manager, and the founder of Here Talent.

Fiona Boylan, founder of Cakehole Productions, is a working voiceover actor, producer and vocal coach with 15+ years' experience. Fiona teaches at leading UK drama schools and works across commercial, narrative, and audio drama projects.

+ an experienced sound engineer will be on hand to record you and answer any technical questions.

The day will cover:

• Understand the importance of vocal health and maintaining your voice

• Explore vocal and microphone techniques

• Break down scripts and tackle sight reading

• Live direction in the booth with commercial and narrative scripts tailored to your casting

• Discover your vocal identity in relation to a range of casting breakdowns

• Discover what makes a strong voiceover reel

• Insight into the business of voiceover, including agents, sourcing work and rates

• Honest feedback, open Q&A, and take-home recordings for continued development

Following the session, we'll head to a local bar for informal networking plus Q&A (and a well-deserved drink)! Previous networking sessions have included guest speakers from Equity.

The masterclass is a welcoming space for all. We take pride in working with individuals from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, talent, not background, is what belongs in this industry.

The masterclass is 4 hours long + an optional networking session directly after the main four hours. The networking is free to attend.

We'll ask you to send a short voice note ahead of the session so we can source scripts suited to your casting (this can be done on a phone). We'll send you the scripts beforehand so you can familiarise yourself with the text.

The cost is £185.00. This can be paid in full or in flexible instalments.

We work with actors and non-actors, those with performance backgrounds and those without.

The Masterclass focuses on commercial and narrative scripts, including documentary and corporate.
